Guy Groups vs. Girl Groups

Heyyy guys :)

This post is going to be my honest opinion and if it happens to offend or anger any of you, I apologize in advance... but it's my opinion, so deal with it. Anyways. So, girl groups and guy groups...Personally I loooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee guy groups WAY more than girl groups. I don't even know. Yes, I'm a guy. And no, I'm not gay. I just think the guy groups are amazing and have super awesome and catchy music, not to mention they're freaking good-looking... and their choreography is spot on. Way better than the girl groups... sorry :P Ugh I don't know, I just don't like and appreciate the girl groups and their music as much. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like them at all, it's just they're not really my type of music. Now there are some girl groups I do like: Sistar, 9 Muses, and Girl's Day. Those three are great. Their music is totally on point, they're all fricken beautiful, and I actually really enjoy listening to them. For guy groups though, I have a HUGE list... It's kinda ridiculous.

Infinite ∞

Ohmygosh hi ^.^

Wow, okay. I'm sooooooo sorry for not posting for so long. Like, summer was pretty amazing and busy and I turned 18 and went on vacation and so it's taken me a while to get back to blogging but I'm back so lets get to it! I decided I wanted to comeback and talk about Infinite. So, I LOVE Infinite... a lot <3 They were one of the first K-Pop groups I was introduced to and their music is so freaking awesome. You HAVE to check them out, okay? Okay. So Infinite has 7 members: Sunggyu, L, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, and Sungjong.

Honestly my bias for Infinite is Woohyun... His voice is perfection and he's kinda freakin cute. But I also really like Dongwoo. He's sooooo funny and has the best personality in Infinite by far. I love them both. Anyways, let me just get to all the different members.

K-Pop and Twitter...

Heyy Everyone :)

I apologize for being so spontaneous and random on when I post for this blog but with school and everything, it's pretty hard for me to be consistent. Anyways, I decided that I'd make this post a little different and talk about the whole K-Pop fandom on Twitter. I don't know. It's pretty freaking awesome how dedicated the K-Pop fandom is. I mean, there are fan accounts for K-Pop where people just fangirl like crazy and it's just so fun, but then there's also the K-Pop role-players (Yeah, I'm one of them xP) and the community for K-Pop is just amazing :D Like seriously, if any of you reading this are part of the K-Pop fandom, you're the best and I love you... Okay sorry... I'm being strange ;P OH, and if you're not a part of the K-Pop fandom on Twitter or even just in all aspects, YOU ARE VERY MUCH WELCOME TO JOIN THE FAMILY <333

Moving on :) so as I said, I'm a K-Pop role-player (judge me if you want... I don't care :P) and to be honest, it's SO fun. I RP as U-Kwon from Block B and as Ricky from Teen Top and I'm so happy I started! If you ever decide to make a RPing account or even just a fan account, I'll follow you @actual_ukwon and @actual_ricky. So I'm not quite sure how to describe what happens when you RP... I guess you could just say we fangirl a lot and we kinda try to act like the person we're RPing as. Lol sorry I suck at describing stuff... BUT whatever. For this post, I wanted to go back to writing about some of my favorite groups, so for this one I'm going to talk about VIXX. Now I reeeeaaaaalllllllyyyyy like VIXX... They're a group of six members, N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hongbin, and Hyuk.

Fangirling

Hey guys!

For this post, I'm going to talk about a mix of things that have to do with fangirling and K-Pop. I'll probably rant a little and definitely fangirl a little so bear with me ;) You might be thinking, "Oh but you're a guy so isn't it called fanboying or something?" NO. NO IT ISN'T. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED. I'M A PROUD FANGIRL AND YOU CANNOT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME. See, I told you I'd rant... but really, GET IT RIGHT PEOPLE! Anyways, fangirling is definitely, like, maybe the most amazing thing ever in my opinion. I don't even know... the feels are just overwhelming when you're a fangirl. I mean, I'm a HUGE fangirl for K-Pop, but on top of that, I'm a HUGE fangirl for One Direction. OMG ONE DIRECTION. I CAN'T. And then there's Harry Potter... I'm just not even gonna get into the feels for Harry Potter... and now there's 5 Seconds of Summer. I'm gonna die from fangirling someday. 'Cept it'll be a good death cuz fangirling is so fantastically fun.

Okay, so recently, well kinda recently, my bestest friend and I had this super amazing fangirling session. Like, I can't even explain it. If you're not a fangirl, you really are missing out. We're both pretty introverted and don't really enjoy being around big groups of people, but when we're fangirling, you'd best not interrupt or insult cuz we will shank you. No joke. ANYWAYS. So pretty much we just fangirled about K-Pop and it was great and I don't even know why I'm sharing this with you guys cuz you probably won't even care but whatever. I'll go back to my normal K-Pop posts next time. But yeah. We also have random fangirl text conversations about One Direction and Harry Potter it just makes me so happy.

Ugh. So I'm just gonna end this post right now before I actually start fangirling cuz you don't want to read that. I'll write about a specific K-Pop group next time. I hope you enjoyed some part of this post :P

K-Pop Love Songs

Hi everyone!

Since I posted about a specific group last time, I decided it might be cool to talk about some of my favorite K-Pop love songs :) Of course there are A TON of K-Pop love songs and I'm obsessed with quite a few, so I'll do a top 10 list. They won't be in any particular order, but I'll try to give you 10 of my very favorites. Just know that this is all my opinion, so don't smite me or something... :P Without further ado, let's get right into it!

For the first song, I'll go with maybe one of my most favorite K-Pop songs, Man In Love by INFINITE. I can't even try to explain the sheer joy the song brings me so you should definitely check it out for yourself!!! Next we have Marry Me by K.Will... I don't know what to say about it. IT'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. AHHHHHH <333333 Moving on... So next I'd go with My Lady by EXO. It's a really cool, catchy song that's probably my favorite on the album. Fourth, I think I'd have to go with So In Luv by SHU-I. Don't kill me for saying this, but they slightly resemble One Direction... kinda. Anyways, it's a reeeaaaallllyyyyy catchy song that I'd definitely go check out. Hmmm... for the next song, I think I'd go with Date by Teen Top. It's such a happy and cute song that always makes me smile. Plus, L.Joe's rapping is absolutely amazing! So now I think I'm gonna have to go with Colorful by SHINee. It's a really energetic song about how a girl makes their life more exciting and worth living and I just really like it. I actually want to add another EXO song to the list... 3.6.5 is an extremely happy, cute, and upbeat song that I've always really liked. It's not one of their more famous songs but I think it's really good. Next I'd have to go with Butterfly by G-Dragon. It kinda veers away from the traditional 'strangeness' of G-Dragon songs but I think it's really sweet. Ninth, I think I would choose Beautiful by BEAST/B2ST. They've always pleasantly surprised me with all their songs and this is just another great one. Last but not least, I would go with Say U Say Me by VIXX. It's from their first full album Voodoo and I'm kinda obsessed with it.

I decided to post about one of my most favorite K-Pop groups, SHINee, as you can hopefully tell from the title. They're a group of five members, who first debuted in 2008.

Their members are Onew, Jonghyun, Taemin, Minho, and Key. Taemin is definitely my bias, but he's also one of my top favorite K-Pop people period :D They have sooooooooooo many great songs, but my favorites are probably Hello, Juliette, SHINe, Colorful, and Dream Girl. Ok, onto the member profiles!

Top 10 Favorite MVs (EXO, SHINee, K.Will, Super Junior, B.A.P, etc.)

I know I've been posting really frequently lately, but I just have so much I want to talk about :) For this blog, I decided to go to more of the performance aspect along with the music by giving  you a top 10 list of my FAVORITE K-Pop MVs (music videos if you didn't get it). I chose them, first of all for the music, but also for the quality of the video and just the amazing choreography put into the video.

First, we have "Please Don't..." by K.Will. I literally cry almost every time I watch this music video his voice just fits perfectly. It really is a high quality video and beautifully sad song. Second, I'd have to go with "No Other" by Super Junior. It's just a really cute song and video so you should check it out :) Third, we have "Love Love Love" by Roy Kim. It's such a sweet song and Roy has SUCH an amazing voice... nuff said. Fourth, I definitely would go with "One Shot" by B.A.P because the video is INTENSE and really well done. The song itself is pretty good too so you should definitely check it out. Fifth, we go to "Gone" by Jin. The only reason why it's not first on my list is because I can't help but cry when I watch it or even just listen to it, but it's still a super fantastic song and Jin has such a beautiful voice :) The rest of this list is much more difficult for me to choose because there are soooooooo many other really great K-Pop songs, but I'll do my best to choose five more. For sixth, I think I'd have to choose "Hello" by SHINee. I just can't help but feel happy when I listen to it and see they're adorable smiling faces :) Seventh, I'd go with "Growl" by EXO because the choreography is amazing and it's such a catchy song. Eighth, I would have to go with one of my most favorite K-Pop songs, Pain the Love of Heart by Speed. It's a reeeaaallllyyy catchy song and the video is pretty cool. Ninth, I think I'd choose Butterfly by GDragon. It's such a sweet and beautiful song. The video that goes along with it is actually really cool and made really well. For the final, tenth choice, I have to give two videos because I really can't choose between the two. One is Janus by Boyfriend and the other is To You by Teen Top. Janus is a really unique song with a really cool video while To You is a really catchy song and the video really tells a story.

The Life of a K-Pop Artist

I decided to deviate from the usual posts about K-Pop groups and the music, but instead talk about what life is really like for someone who is in the industry. You might think that they're living the life with fame, money, and everything they want at their fingertips, but that's not the case. I just want to write this blog to show you what really happens and so that you may have an even greater appreciation for your favorite groups and artists for all that they go through. 

Bekah, a former K-Pop group member of After School said that the worst part about being in the industry was the lack of sleep. There was constant activities that they would be rushed to and the most she would get to sleep was an hour or even less. She said that if their became even more successful, it would only lead to even harder work and even more activities. In order to promote for new music, they have to do many concerts and performances to show off the new songs and dances that go along with it. Even at concerts, they go through terrible treatment. They barely get to eat a meal, but instead they have crackers and water or bread and maybe, if they're lucky, a bowl of soup. Backstage, it's very crowded and cramped, and very, VERY busy. They have to put on makeup, get in their different outfits, and of course practice for their performance. Now I don't want to make it seem like they're treated badly or that they hate what they do, because that's not true. The artists really do love what they do, despite all the difficulties. Bekah said that she was so overjoyed to see the reactions of her fans when she would perform and that all the setbacks, couldn't compare to the joy she saw. 

I really hope that after reading this, you came to appreciate all that these guys and gals do for us :) I mean, they're all really awesome and they always put a smile on my face at least. Leave a comment if you want me to go over a K-Pop group or something else that has to do with K-Pop!

It's been a while since my last post and as we start this new year, I decided to talk about another one of my favorite groups Block B. If you read my previous post about EXO, then you'll know how this post is going to work. I'll just go over the group in general and then do a member profile for each of the members.

Block B is a group of 7 members, Zico, Jaehyo, B-Bomb, P.O, Kyung, and U-Kwon.

I'll straight off the bat tell you that U-Kwon and Kyung are my biases. I really can't choose between them because they are both so freaking awesome :) They have a BUNCH of great songs like Nalina (Nanrina), Be the Light, Very Good, and Nillili Mambo. I'll just go to the member profiles now.
