Don't Know About K-pop?

Hey,
If you're reading this, you most likely happened to just randomly stumble upon it and you might not even know what it is. It's a blog ONLY about K-pop, and if you don't know what that is, well, you're in trouble. I'm not really here to educate you, because I really just want to do reviews and tell you about my favorite groups and singers, but I guess if you really don't know I can give a brief explanation. K-pop is, if you can't tell, Korean pop music. It's, in my opinion, soooooooooooooooo much better than our dumb-downed, sexualized, and ultimately boring American pop music. I'm not say all American music is like that, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying that most of it is not, by any means, going in the right direction. Anyways, back to K-pop.

There are TONS of different groups, sub-groups, and single artists, that go into training for years til their debut. For example, I recently watched the formation of one of my favorite K-pop groups, VIXX. It was televised on a show called Mydol, where ten guys trained together until they were reduced to six guys: Ravi, Ken, Leo, N, Hyuk, and Hongbin. N is the leader and main choreographer and dancer. Leo and Ken are the main vocals, Hyuk and Hongbin are backup vocals I guess you could say, and Ravi is the rapper. See? Different from American groups. I hope that was a good enough explanation...

I think that's all I really want to put in this blog. It was a nice introduction so I think we're good.
Signing off,

Jonathan
